.kiou letuai tinto...

"My name is Mary" can be translated word-to-word to Muai as

.kiou letuai tinto Mary.

As "Mary" is a foreign name in Muai, it is more properly enclosed by the organizers niu and nui:

.kiou letuai tinto niu Mary nui.

Those organizers are optional in informal speech but obligatory in "formal Muai", since one of Muai goals is to provide the possibility of being phonetically unambiguous. A foreign name is generally not adapted to Muai phonotactics (possible combinations of phonemes) and may spoil phonetic unambiguity.

Another option is to muai-a-nize the name, that is to create another version to that name that is adapted to Muai phonetic patterns. For instance, "Mary" can be writeen as "le-Miahi", that can be written in all-minuscules as "lemiahi", since the preffix "le-" already marks proper names, except for "letuai", which means "proper name" itself, and other similar words.

.kiou letuai tinto lemiahi.

There is a more concise way of saying "my name is" in Muai:

.lekioi hento Mary.

where "lekioi" stands for "my name". Similar pronouns are "letiei" (your name), "leliai" (his/her/its name) and "lesiai" (one's name) .
